Epoxy satin primer for steel, brass, cast-iron and light alloys. Specifically applied as a primer on propellers, flaps and cast-iron bulbs, provides an excellent anchor pattern and long lasting anticorrosion barrier. The product is overcoated with antifouling CONTENDER ELICHE.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE
 
Propellers, stern drives, flaps and cast-iron bulbs.

The substrate should be perfectly cleaned, dry, degreased and mechanically sanded. Apply a first coat of ELIPRIMER 2C (25-30 dry microns) thinned 30% with Thinner 765*. After 12-24 hours apply a second coat of ELIPRIMER 2C (30-40 dry microns) thinned 20-25% with Thinner 765*. Let dry for  minimum 12. hours and overcoat with two coats of  antifouling CONTENDER ELICHE allowing the required waiting time between coats.

*It is necessary to dilute separately the Sol. A before adding the activator Sol.B. Once the Sol.A has been diluted add the activator Sol.B in the correct ratio specified and let stand the mixture for 10-15 minutes before starting application.
