Self-leveling two-component epoxy coating designed for industrial flooring. Once fully cured, it withstands mechanical movements excellently, without issues of thickness loss or cracking. It can be overcoated, if necessary, with two-component finishes to meet specific requirements (gloss, matte effect, slipperiness or anti-slip properties).
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION CYCLE
Cement, cement-based conglomeratesThe substrate must be clean, dry, properly cured, free from loose particles, efflorescence, and release oils. Apply a coat of EPOFOND AM/9 as a primer, diluted according to the absorbency of the concrete. Allow to dry, then apply AM/FLOOR-EPOXY to achieve the desired thickness (from 1 mm up to a maximum of 10 mm). If an aesthetic finish is required, apply 2 coats of polyurethane enamel.
Existing floors in concrete, cement, ceramic, and natural stones
Make sure the substrate is clean, dry, compact, and free from loose particles. If necessary, fill visible defects (holes, cracks, or deep fissures). Apply a coat of EPOFOND AM/9 as a primer, diluted just enough to consolidate the surface. Allow to dry, then apply AM/FLOOR-EPOXY to the required thickness (from 1 mm up to a maximum of 10 mm). If an aesthetic finish is required, apply 2 coats of polyurethane enamel.
Note: Do not dilute the product with solvent, as this could cause curing problems and bubble formation over time.
