It is a single-pack primer formulated with epoxy and amine resins, oven-drying at temperatures between 140 and 180°C. It can be applied both by o-ring method and by side-band method for the 3-layer system polyethylene external coating of 8 to 56 inch pipes.Provides outstanding resistance to cathodic disbonding and excellent adhesion for the following coats with remarkable chemical-physical characteristics. LBE 100 is a self-curing product and since it does not need refrigerated storage it can be stored at room temperature.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Applied on grit-blasted steel pipes prepared to SA 2,5 in accordance with BS 7079 part A1 or equivalent.  Supplied ready for use for heated application. Can be thinned with a max. of 5% M.E.K. where heated application is not possible.
